In that first paragraph we still have the same problem, that of PARTY over PRINCIPAL.You think ANY republican Gov.would have signed on to an impeachment that could not be won? Not likely. Think about all the R senators who REFUSED to vote to impeach Clinton.Personally,I thought the clowns going after Clinton were as silly as the ones going after Bush.Way too many people have NO clue as to how the process works, but it sounds so DIRE.This is just another show of grandstanding before the media, primarily.Use it if neccessary,LEAVE IT ALONE just because you disagree with a particular POTUS.The damn drama queens anyway. I think the time has ABSOLUTELY come for another party or two to rise from the ashes of the train wreck we now have.People who are interested SOLELY in party over principle need to be run out. Period.

I believe that Governors will be separated a bit more from the federal party than the senate will be. Of course it won't be perfect, but I think it would be better. I don't remember much about the Clinton stuff, only the generalities, as I was 11 at the time.

Really, I have taken to Glenn Beck the past couple weeks and that guy can be a rally person for any third party that rises up using principles. He is gaining popularity daily it seems. lol

Clinton was asked about an affair in the Oval Office with an intern, and tried to cover it up.Instead of being about an actual act he SHOULD be impeached for,it all became a sideshow.Instead of "manning up" and just admitting he did,and move on, Clinton DID perjure himself, but this was more about "Gotcha" politics than what he did in violation of his oath,or official duties. Getting head in the Oval Office, last I knew, wasn't an impeachable offense. It is what he did with the cover-up. Always seems like the cover-up is worse than what they actually did.Hope that helps.

Yea I know the generalities, but lots of the legal stuff that went on I was pretty oblivious. I think they should have left him alone too, but if you think back, Gore may have been president had that happened.

Yep,he would have. I firmly believe THAT ALONE may have saved Clinton's bacon. Much like with Gaffes vis-a-vis Obama.
