yes - but what about the millions of

absentee ballots the democrats are collecting from out of country voters?
What is going on with voting at each residence in different states?
How many McCain Palin votes is it going to take to beat any extra votes garnered in this manner?

Every Vote Counts!

Especially this year! -- McCain-Palin ticket is catching on but it is the electoral college that decides in the end -- I did read that the state-by-state polls are tightening up! --

Absentee ballots ??

HI,

Thanks for reading my blog.

When you say "out of country" are you talking about absentee ballots for military personel overseas? I don't see it being a very close contest there. McCain will have the upper hand as a former Naval aviator who put his fellow captive Americans first while he was himself a prisoner in Vietnam, he likely will have strong support in that segement of voters. One thing to keep in mind is during the 2006 midterm elections only 47% of military voters who requested an absentee ballot had thier vote counted, according to the US Election Assistance Commission. There seem to be issues around obtaining an accurate tally og overseas votes. I'm not sure if that suggests deliberate tampering or not, but in very tight state elections certainly absentee votes can make the difference.
