So, I suppose being free from a terrorist attack, having a great economy, recertification of our Bill of Rights, specifically our Second Amendment, those are a "troubled past"?? Only way the past is "troubled" for libs is that THEY were not able to LOSE the war we are currently fighting!

All the 'reasons' that O'Bozo cites are just whimpering about capitalism. The liberals are just dog poop when it comes to making money and providing jobs. They love to lose and bawl. Look at their educational 'scores.' Look at welfare.

Either we have about 60% of our citizens who want a better life and will get educated and work for wealth or not. I think he will have only 6 months of phony liberal promises and then, when the unemployment hits 10% in the summer of 09, the voters will want to see where this recovery is going.

Voters are not stupid enough to wait several years while O'Bozo hires 600,000 new federal employees and then spends 4 trillion dollars and gets us an inflation rate of 15-50% per year.

Great article, you picked his speach apart and layed it bare for all to see. The Obamunist will not quit until he has achieved the Utopian Marxist Nanny State he dreams of.

My plan:
1. Cash stimulus check if one is sent to me.
2. Convert cash to solid assets, i.e. Gold, Silver, etc...
3. Store assets in a safe place.

By doing this I remove this stimulus capital from the market and passively oppose the Obamunist Nanny State.

After the "only" solution of heavy handed government produces more failure in the marketplace, will "only government" get the blame. Of course not. There will be another bogey man to continue the "crisis" for the libs. We are in a sorry state of affairs when we are about to unleash the very beast (bad government) that created each of the financial failures that have been upfront in the news over recent months. At the same time, the Obama and the Dems are set to saddle American business with higher taxes, more regulation, and higher energy costs. The socialist agenda has absolutely no interest in a vibrant economy. They are all about transforming our system of government to fit their Marxist ideals.

Yes, I feel so much better that I need to run out and get me a tie dye shirt, and a Che poster, then head for the nearest head-shop so I can get my brain right with liberal philosophy.

I listened to Odummers speech and gagged the whole time, visualizing all the empty headed masses out there, nodding like bobble headed dolls, in agreement with every word he spewed.

I still believe it will take a second revolution by conservatives to rescue our country. Just not sure exactly how it's going to happen, but wish we'd come up (soon) with a method, before it's too late.

I have to agree, things could get really ugly, and a lot of it depends on whether our repubs in the senate and house can find their spines.

It is amazing that Obama was able to raise over a billion dollars, of course we'll never know how much of it was Legal. With all the stories of phone banks in the west bank, and guys in Gaza buying 30k Obama Tshirts, I'd put the Legal amount raised at maybe a couple million. Of course, with dems controlling the legislature and the white house, we may never know the truth.

And I agree about feeling inspired after reading Gary Graham's blog on BigHollywood. Wish we could get him on TH.

At the end of '39, my nativity, the Depression was as bad as it was in '32. The Raw Deal will be Keynes in spades. Keynes always said, ' we owe it to ourselves.' Yeah, that will work in trillions.And with students being brainwashed that Lester Thurlow and Keynes are the guiding lights in economics, the opposition conservs will find it hard sledding to turn back the socialist tide.

When the country had the "Surplus" the dems talk about all the time, he was asked about returning that surplus back to the people. Clinton refused, saying, "We don't think they will spend it the right way.".

This tells us all we need to know about dems, They think they know better than we do how to spend our money.

When obummer was giving his speech, I kept waiting for him to fully channel FDR and say, "The only thing we have to fear is capitalism itself.".

I agree, and it wasn't just FDR, the "do something, do anything" creed is as old as socialism and fascism itself. Hitler gained power the same way, Enough words, we need action.

Of course the young skulls full of goo that follow the socialists fall in love with that creed, because they are all about action without thought.

The more the lefties jump to the left, the larger the backlash will be. Carter brought us Reagan, Obummer will bring us Palin, Jindall, or another Real conservative in 2012.

Great post. Spectacular really. The way he is planning on spending our money reminds me of how Hitler ran Germany. The government employing everyone. It works in the short term really if done right, but it always falls flat. A government cannot keep up all that spending. All the while the people grow complacent and do not work hard. Human nature is to do as much as needed, not to work hard even if you do not make an extra cent doing it. Capitalism uses human nature to its advantage while socialism works against it by forcing all to work for a flat rate. That is the root problem of all that Obama speaks of when creating these jobs.

Just a side note. I think you mean 460 thousand per job. Which is a hella lot of money per job still. Why not just pay 3 million people 460k? lol
