I also have trouble with the editing--for instance there is a huge space between two words on my last post which does not show up in my original typed version--so I can't correct it. Also I change colors, font, etc. and then the next paragraph will put it all back to the original color and font, and I have to highlight and click to get it to the new ones again. It IS frustrating. However, I just assume it's because I am a complete incompetent when it comes to computers. Good luck!

The document editor is very unwieldy, and has more quirks than a '64 Dodge Dart with a push button tranny.

I do an awful lot of my initial drafts in Word 2003, and it seems to work better. But still, formatting is a nightmare with glitches, and my problem is the opposite of Jan@.. If I change the format, it can be almost impossible to go back to the original format instead of the altered formatting!
