Alaskonomics, Palin Style

I've never been to Alaska, but I have a co-worker who spent over a year there on a job. From what I hear, the cost of living is sky-high. There are very few roads, so everything has to be brought in by plane. There are many towns without the basic infrastructure in place to provide electricity and heating...and that in a very cold place. If Sarah Palin fought for more revenue for these people, she was doing the job they elected her to do!
