People who are the beneficiaries of these programs do not want them to end. I know way more than I am revealing about these programs -- they defy logic and are outright discriminatory.

I doubt McCain has the courage to simply tell the truth about these things. If someone tells the truth, invariably they are racists.

To some extent, McCain benefited from his father and grandfather being in the Navy -- so maybe he thinks some of preferential treatment is alright.

The Supreme Court is the only branch that might have the courage to end these programs. Judges appointed by McCain may have that courage -- but I am not holding my breath.
