Gulliver Among Tyrants

The Guardian will never be the worst written and least relevant paper in a world that contains the Jayson Blair (New York) Times, but it could be in the bottom 5.

When a reputable paper makes such an idiotic comparison, then I will be concerned.

The thing about America that I believe strongly is though it is not perfect, it is generally a noble nation that has done more good in the world than any other nation in history has before. It is a nightmare to even envision what the world would be like without the United States influence. Armageddon and World War 3 would have broken long ago...
