What does your gut tell you about God?

Great arguments! You know, I have a great interest in Astronomy and Cosmology and I am amazed at the extent scientists go so as not to admit there is a God. They wont put their faith in God yet "believe" in a multiverse - a never ending chain of universes where one of them, ours, just happens to have all the fine tuning for life. To me it requires more blind faith to believe in modern "scientific" explanations for the ubiverse than to believe in a Creator

I wouldn't use the word assumption though - Inner knowing, faith, intuition, yes. When we listen to the inner voice we hear God saying, "this is the way, walk in it. This is the way you will find me. And then I will reveal the external realities to you." All good things come to those who believe and wait. This is why unbelievers will be lost in a horrible darkness; while whining that believers are checking their brains at the door for believing in God without proof, in truth they are the ones who are checking their brains, whole self, and future, at the door for not recognizing that others ways of KNOWING are available to us.
