Secret Service Intimidates Private Citizen for Obama (Updated)

Just heard your story on the Rusty Humphries show.

Scary stuff, yes.

If this is the case, and even IF the two agents took things the wrong way be error, we still have some problems. This appears to be a continuing pattern of harassment by the Obama campaign to intimidate people. Other incidents have been reported, though I can't tell if these are isolated incidents of overzealous supports or something larger. Probably the first.

However this is still disturbing. Very disturbing.

Keep up the good work on letting the people know about this.

I just had to let you know I heard your story on Rusty's show and have checked out your blog- the title really drew me in because I have been telling people that we are sliding into Fascism since 1993. You are so right that this is ridiculous in the USA.

You can check out a good video by googling "America:freedom to fascism" by Aaron Russo. Unfortunately, Aaron has died, however, his well done film lives on along with his efforts to save us from our blindness.

I have seen the Russo film, it was very good and very disturbing. I also read a great book recently by Jonah Goldberg called "Liberal Fascism" and it traces fascism from the Jacobin Revolution in France right up through the race riots of the 60's. He discusses how fascism has always been a youth movement to throw off the old establishment and bring CHANGE no matter the cost. How frighteningly prophetic the publishing of this book just this year is now seeming to be.

It's frightening to think this guy could become our next president. I hope you don't mind, but I've put a link to your post on my blog.

I have read many reports of all kins of intimidation, including slashed tires on cars sporting McCain bumpers stickers...then there's Joe the Plumber being investigated for daring to ask the One (peace be upon him) a question...

Looks like we may be getting ourselves a black Stalin here soon. Who knows what's coming next when they really have power.

It's time to put the "civil liberties" pundits to the test. Though I don't think you'll get any help from the ACLU.

Such advice might come in handy for other ...."incidents" as they occur.

This is intolerable.

Also, I wanted to know if it is OK to link to your story on my site. This is worth repeating far and wide. It seems the Obama campaign, while not necessarily connected to many of these events, has a quick-draw response on some issues (as we saw with Joe the Plumber) and an attitude that tends to encourage this spiteful behavior.

I posted in agreement with a commenter named Aussie00 on your old site--I think he's right that the "agents" who visited you behaved in a manner incompatible with the real McCoy. Is it possible that they were the campaign office staffers themselves or others engaged by them impersonating agents?

If they were, they broke the law and deserve to have the book thrown at them.

You might want to follow this up via your local authorities as well as the real Secret Service. If they're being impersonated I'm sure they'd love to know about it.
