Keep in mind that the OATHS taken by the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial public servants, as outlined in the CONSTITUTION, are to the CONSTITUTION not the President, Congress, nor the United States of America.

We have to be honest with ourselves. And so perhaps the feelings you feel indicate that, while you have different opinions, you have a lot in common with those you are insulting. That is why I try not to insult, because we are all equal. And if we have to respond with verbal violence over issues so minor, then how can we tell gov'ts not to respond with real violence over more important issues.

Much of the rhetoric here, though not all, reminds me of the movie "An American Carol" where you can't tell whether it is a parody of people like Michael Moore or a parody of those who make caricatures of people like Michael Moore or both.

What is ironic is that Gunny's posts really fall in line with some of what the MSM does. It vilifies those who are not to the right of Gunny. Such rhetoric is there to enforce conformity and is thus to enable an authoritarian or fascist society. His finger pointing at leftists for being fascist is a diversion because he is the one punishing dissent and insisting on a uniform view. This kind of finger pointing has historical precedents. That's irony.

facts are a stubborn thing to get past, even though the left refuses to acknowledge them. If you believe you can defy gravity I suggest you give it a try, choose a high place and jump, the result is always the same. By the same reasoning fascist socialism will fail because the results are always the same you can attempt to change black to white you can try to convince everyone that up is down you can commit crimes and blame the opposition for what you have done but in the end you will find that facts are indeed stubborn and the reward for opposing what is right and true is unpleasant. The truth is not subject to oppinon in spite of the attempts of the left to have their own version of it, when speaking about the truth there can be only one version.
