Illegal Immigrants

The dirty secret to why both parties are not stepping up to stop immigration legal or not,(remember if we secure the borders they want 100 million brought here legally), is that they think immigration is the key to saving social security, medicare and the $84 trillion unfunded liability we face over the next several decades.

We have 77 million retiring which is over 1/2 the workforce, we have aborted 40 million, and the retirees now approaching 65 are supposed to live 35 years to 100. That is 35 years of drawing from both programs with rising costs and increasing social security checks tied to COLA (inflation)

They are right that we have a big problem but without tax reform, bringing 100 million workers here won't solve any problems, only make them worse, but that is what is behind both parties moves in this area.

Who's your senator? He/she is a bonehead. That reply was total nonsense, and I wouldn't let their office get away with it.

And I agree with BrianR. In fact that reply looks like a form letter that I've seen used by other reps. I just don't remember from whom.
