Nanny (State) Turned Dominatrix

The farther the nanny state progresses the greater their need to force the un-reconstructed among us to comply. I alluded to this bully mentality in my most recent post concerning the McCain campaign position of conservatives.

Europe is a whole other problem altogether, but we seem to be catching up fast in America.

The Virginia General Assembly is as dangerous as any but we do seem to have a real flair for ridiculous legislation.

I'm more optimistic than you are. WE are the escape from the inevitable. In an earlier post "Roadblocks on Utopia Highway" I called us pesky obstacles in liberal plans. Let's get in their way at every turn!

I have kept up on the backlash that is coming out of Cali in regards to 777. It is my hope that the target of 600,000 students will be removed from the state sponsored indoctrination stations. For the last 10-15 years, indoctrination, not education, has become the goal of the state. Our children continue to decline in what they are learning. Radical activists have taken over the left, which has no greater love than public funded education.

It is time in this nation that we revolt and demand that education be removed from the control of the state. The effective end result, otherwise, would be for our nation to enact laws, such as the Nazi laws used in the German case you mentioned (that's where those laws actually originate from). If we do nothing, we will completely lose a generation, not only morally, but intellectually.

I have to say it distresses me to the extreme however. How close we move to this lack of freedom is so frightening.

I have read several times (I have not confirmed this independently) that one of Hitler's first moves when he came to power was to oblige all children to attend government schools. Surprise, surprise.

You might want to check out the book "Liberal Fascism." I picked it up because its basic premise seems obvious to me, but there's a lot of interesting political history to back it up.

Is there a point where this PC thuggery can be turned around or is this just the ongoing rot of our civilization? The government seizing your children for Thoughtcrime and nobody notices. It is not a coincidence that Britain, Germany and especially Spain have birthrates FAR below replacement.

I quoted it in my post following the home school ruling....it states openly that mandated schooling is the best way to break down the Burgois capitalist artificial construct of the family. The judge and the unions and legislators that approve these things from 777 to the appelate court ruling are acting out of the Communist playbook with no qualms at all.
