A Code of Ethics for Elected Officials?

Code of Ethics

I know that I have always had a Code of Ethics in my work career. I guess maybe the know all and be all on the hill missed that part of orientation. As far as I can see the biggest mouths don't seem to have covered it. To bad. They might have learned something.

code of ethics

You might be a better choice than the front-runners we Americans are being told are our choice despite the fact guys like Tancredo, who wants the border closed and illegals deported yesterday, Fair Tax enacted, Gitmo kept open and supports bombing the snot out of Islam trying to anihilate mankind, would be the best choice.

We Americans are stuck with unethical party leaders who will decide our president for us. If Osam bin Laden entered the race, liberals would vote for him just so they could get rid of conservatives in Washington. There's our ethics.

Engineers Code of Ethics

I was totally unaware of the existance of such a code of ethics, but after reading it, I am thoroughly in awe and have an even greater respect for professional engineers! I truely agree with the concept of how much better and more secure our country would be if such a code of ethics existed for and was followed by our Congressmen and Congresswomen.

How about we get this published in hundreds of newspapers and ask the same question. I bet very few if any average Americans are aware of this code of ethics as well. No wonder America has such a history and culture of excellence and some of the best engineers in teh world!
