I Think Obama Has a Serious Character Flaw That Has Not Been Discussed

The NC Ad-Is it racist?

This week, the North Carolina Republican Party has came out with a political TV ad that highlights Rev. Jeremiah Wright, specifically, his "God D___ America" rant. The ad, while making the case that Barack Obama was too extreme for America, was directly targeted at two Democrats running for governor of North Carolina since they had both endorsed Obama for president. As a result, liberals and Democrats are up in arms over the ad, even as the Hillary camp plays on the same points.....

Responding to Nurnberg

I think a lot of people who endorsed Obama before the Rev. Wright issue became public are regretting it now. Let's say they're having endorser's remorse. I think if a previous endorser is having endorser's remorse, they can retract their endorsement if they so desire. So far, I haven't heard of anyone who has retracted his/her endorsement of Obama.
However, to answer your specific question, with what I know, which isn't all the details, it seems to me that the ad is NOT racist.
As I recall, the deceased Jerry Falwell had said something to the effect that the 9/11 catastrophe was somehow a punishment meted out by God to the sinful U. S..
If someone had been a member of Falwell's congregation, and if he had heard this type of comment for 20 years, I don't think it would racist to criticize a supporter of that member of the congregation. They could be criticized as being unwise, etc., but certainly not being racist.
They could always retract their support of that person. If they don't, that could be unwise.
I know quite a few people who supported Bush in the last election and now openly regret it, at least to me.
