They just about did that. Both Pelosi and Biden got read the catechism last month or so by their respective Archbishops, various Cardinals and what not. They were told if they persist in supporting Pro-Abortion whoops(Pro-Choice) and Pro-Abortion Candidates they could find another denomination. The Cards also told the Catholics as a whole to not be a member of any political party that supported abortion or to support Candidates who were pro-abortion (pro-infantacide)

I heard about and now that I have read about it I am more determined to oppose the left and The Obama Campaign. One by one our Consitution is being shredded by the left. We shall see, I am not surprised and we shall see.

Oh, now you have hit on one of my most angry subjects, that of abortion.

I'm glad the Catholic Church issued this letter and I hope these dems who support this "murder" get excommunicated from the church.

Being a Catholic myself I was taught life begins at conception and that is how it stands for me, both on a religious level and on a medical level having been a nurse many moons ago.

If you study science, you know doggone well, that life begins with that one cell. Now how is that not life to these dems?

And, just what do they think is in a woman's uterus? A tadpole? A baby skunk? It's so outrageous and with the new science of 4D sonograms and I am sure science will advice even further, it's going to be harder and harder to sell this abortion business as just getting rid of some unknown blob.

And, I'm glad the Pope mentioned the undue suffering of women who have had abortions and then live with that guilt and regret the rest of their lives. I had a neighbor with ovarian cancer who was sure God was punishing her because she had an abortion. That's all she could think about while she was dying.

Thanks so much for this post - abortion is a national tragedy -a global tragedy - and it seesm the only major global instution brave enough to take a consistent stand against it is the Church. I am glad the Church called out Biden and Pelosi and the rest of them. Hopefully the bishops will have the courage to excommunicate them publically. The new bishops and cardinals seem to be more orthodox and true to the teachings of Christ and the Church than the older generation. We must all watch out for religious repression by government, though, because if Obama wins you better believe it is coming - and the catholic Church will be the #1 target, just like in England and Canada. In England bishops are being investigated for "hate crimes" ofr speaking out about homosexuality from the pulpit. Catholic hospitals in the UK might son be given the ultimatum: refual to do abortions in hositals for religious reasons will be condiered a hate crime and the hospital will be closed. Things are about to get really scary.
