It seems nobody is accountable in the law enforcement arena. Whole states can turn themselves into sanctuary states; cities into sanctuary cities; counties into sanctuary counties.

It is believed by this writer that it is illegal to harbor illegal aliens or to lie about their existence or whereabouts.

Something like that fence -- who is responsible?

Certainly few people in authority want any part of enforcing the laws; to the contrary, it is primarily plain old American citizens who are being made to pay the price for the dereliction of duty of those in power.

Is it too much to ask that those we chose to represent us represent, instead, their own priorities?
