This is a problem caused by Mugabe and his idiot leftist socialism process. This is not a problem for the U.N. or anyone else to solve. The problem can be solved only by the people of Zimbabwe(sic) Socialism is an easy way to put a country in the red (no pun intended) (much)
It also the quickest way to take a country from a net exporter to a net importer of fodd which is what Mugabe did in just a few short years.

I'm not saying the U.N. should or should not step in. I would think it would be on their radar though - their website includes humanitarian efforts for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda, but not Zimbabwe. I can't figure out why...
