I just hope that we don't choose someone like Putin again to be Person of the Year and give it to someone deserving like the entire US military or to Gen. David Petreaus.

It just astounds me at times (and other times doesn't surprise me at all which is not always a good thing) the recognition that some people receive over others that are truely deserving of our attention.

I really enjoyed reading this along with your POV. I'll have to come back when I get some time and read through the rest of your blogs!

I agree whole heartedly. In fact as I had mentioned in the article, this all evolved out of simple discussion with a friend of mine.

And Yes INDEED, the US military would be an excellent choice.
