Hmmmm......

"NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA,...., do hereby proclaim January 20, 2009, a National Day of Renewal and Reconciliation, and call upon *all of our citizens* to *serve one another* and the *common purpose* of remaking this Nation for our new century."

Whoa....sounds a wee bit too close to Marxism to me. And where in hell does he get the authority to make up a new holiday???

your blog cf

that was a great first blog cf, I did not watch this fool either. I can not believe they let him use the bible of abe lincoln.

He the new one does not speak for me, I have always given to people, and I always will. I help people all the time, and I always will. I don't need his two cents telling me what I should do. He should show all the records and his b.c. to show he was born here, and what grades he got at the school paid for by the thugs.
I had better things to do other than watch him get sworn in also.

Great post CF

I Accidently watched a couple minutes here and there, while scanning through the channels trying to find something that wasn't all obama all the time. (wasn't easy)

I did see a shot of the Obamas walking up Pennsylvania ave. and the theme to the Jeffersons kept running through my head. I switched the channel before it got completely un PC.

Then I caught Rich Warren's invocation, and I swear I saw a couple gay atheists disappear in a cloud of smoke.

The rest of the day i've been cranking the loudest angriest hard rock music i could find and screaming along, and chasing the subwoofer around on my desk. :op

YLG

Where does he get the authority?

LOL

Have you forgotten already that he's the messiah?

LMAO

memethediva

Amen.

No way does the so-called messiah compare to good old Honest Abe.

Jackpine

I managed to completely miss all of the ceremonies today.

I went to whitehouse.gov to get the text of his proclamation, and that's where I will get most of my material for those blog, probably.

Straight from the jackasses mouth!

Nice!

Good job CF.

I have a couple of questions for Obama. Where was the calls for unity the last eight years? The left wants us to reconcile now because they don't have the belly for the fight they picked. Forget it, because this rightie is not going to reconcile or unify. Jesus said "turn the other cheek" he didn't say "Let your self proclaimed enemies walk all over you."

My next question to Obama as he stood up there and spouted that he wanted to change America...CHANGE WHAT? Are you now telling us that you wanted to be president of a country and people that is so fundamentally flawed that it needs change? Says way more about Obama than America.

I don't want change, but I sure could do with some improvement.

And for the Record...

Michelle's clothes yesterday were ugly, and she needs to drop 20 pounds off that backside.

First it's decried by the author that he was too "busy" (read: playing a nonchalant card while bouncing off of the walls of pressure cooker) to pay much attention to Obama's speech. But wait! He garners enough time to compose an entire review of the speech which hypocritically invites the seldom of "awesome God." Ya! If being a vindictive, smarmy weasel is how God chooses his acolyte, then all hopes are lost. But of course, anyone with an ensemble of intellectual honestly can decipher the "uncertainty" enshrouding the nation is a reference to a collective apprehension felt for the future of this country -- and not your hasty plan to get online and spew bile of psychologically self-satisfying nonsense. Coma-induced interpretation is better left to Townhall bloggers as the rest of the nation is too busy to face the reality head on.
