You're on a roll!

Keep it up! Nuke power always gets them sputtering.

I have to agree with Crawfish

I am with Crawfish on this one, very well done.

I wrote the same thing, though using a lot more words (not always a good thing, but I have real trouble with "pithy"). However, my conclusion was the same, that the environmental movement essentially is anti-man. Not all environmentalists have reached this conclusion yet, but it is the inevitable outcome of their premises.

You can see it at http://andrews.blogtownhall.com/2008/04/14/the_lie_of_envi ronmentalism.thtml

LOL!

There you go trying logic. I thought that we were talking about liberals? Of course there should be no animal testing of a cancer drug for dogs. What about the dogs right to choose? Perhaps Rover wants to seek alternative therapies or spiritual healing.

Truly a game effort Greg but you just can't reason with the deranged. The same applies to logical solutions such as nuclear power, it just can't compete with the sexy giant birdy Cusinarts in the mind of a liberal.

Well said...

...it's always interesting to point out liberal inconsistencies: there are so many. My recent quote for the day is relevant:

Energy security

This is how energy security works in my country:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/0 4/27/npipe227.xml

A 48 hour strike at one of the UK's key oil refineries leads to fuel stockpiling, and fuel has to be shipped from Europe to keep the country going.

The strike is costing the country £50million per day, which makes you wish that the company bosses had simply done a backroom deal to secure the final salary pensions.

Here's the deal I would make:

We will guarantee a comfortable retirement for you, if you will adopt terms and conditions that recognise this as a PROTECTED industry (on energy security grounds) and from this point onwards it is illegal to strike.

Of course, the comrades would never accept a deal like that would they ... and I suppose it would be too radical for the bosses.

But seriously, these people have the ability to inflict economic damage out of all proportion to their pension claim.

Of course the usual suspects appeared on the board complaining about ... MARGARET THATCHER! Libs live in the past, don't they ...

Of course ..

... one poster had a much simpler suggestion on the Telegraph board:

"Do a Reagan and fire them all permanently"

:o)

Greg

That attitude of Reagan toward the airlines was what got my husband writing in his name twice before he ever got nominated.
