Me, too
Yea, I got that too. Plus this when I wrote saying that the polar bears were just fine (I also mentioned man-made global warming was a myth)...
Anyway, enjoy!
"Thank you for contacting me about global warming. As Chairman of the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, I am working to make combating global warming a top national priority.
"I am pleased to report that on June 6, 2008, a clear bipartisan majority of 54 Senators emerged in support of moving forward with meaningful legislation to tackle the pressing problem of global climate change, supporting our effort to end the filibuster of the Boxer-Lieberman-Warner global warming bill. This strong support demonstrates that despite a reluctant Administration, most of my Senate colleagues are ready to take decisive action to fight global warming.
"Unfortunately, we needed 60 votes to break a filibuster. However, I believe it is now clear that in the near future, global warming legislation will be enacted. I believe it will be soon after the next President takes office.

here's the rest...
"Overwhelming scientific evidence that global warming is jeopardizing our planet demands that we act now to avert this crisis. Among the projected devastating impacts of global warming are harmful effects on public health and the possible extinction of up to 40 percent of all species. Global warming also threatens to raise sea levels, flood coastal areas, and cause agricultural losses from drought, pests, and extreme weather events. Scientists have warned that we may be reaching a "tipping point" beyond which irreversible damage may occur.
"The Boxer-Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act would establish a cap on greenhouse gas emissions with significant reductions of up to
"70% from 2005 levels by 2050, according to evaluations of the reported bill. It would substantially cut global warming emissions from major sectors of the U.S. economy. Furthermore, the bill would place a priority on renewable energy and energy efficiency, and on assistance to low- and middle-income consumers.
"I am confident that we will continue to build on our progress to pass a tough global warming bill in the next Congress. We look forward to the inauguration of a new President who will work with us to protect our planet and our people from the catastrophic effects of global warming. Be assured that I will continue to collaborate with my colleagues to improve, strengthen, and ultimately pass this vital legislation.
"Again, thank you for contacting me about this important issue. Please know that I will do everything within my power to address this urgent environmental threat.
Barbara Boxer
United States Senator"

Thanks for that and for stopping by.
I'll return the favor.
Pretty sad how she pretends to respond as if she even cares what we think much less even reads our email in the first place.
Jeez what a loser.
The freaknut elites are becoming their own worst enemy, just like the enviro-marxist goon squad they prostitute for.

We can lower gas prices by incurring more costs on the oil companies. I think the 80s/90s Canadian band TRIUMPH said it best.

I actually got pretty much the same as Cosmox. I think they look for key words. If you write about "global warming" they kick this boiler plate letter back to us.
What a gal. I hope when she comes up for re-election she gets booted. She is working hard for the people. How about hardly working.
"Again, thank you for contacting me about this important issue. Please know that I will do everything within my power to address this urgent environmental threat."
Does she realize that she is an environmental threat?

Thanks all! Sue...
That's right!
She (!) is harming the environment by outsourcing oil production to countries that don't have anywhere near the standards of care we do!
Sickening how twisted and spineless these people are. How owned and used and ever so supinely yielding to those most against healthy progress and the security of our beloved republic... Whores I say.
Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, all those bleepin anties and idiots...
Sickening it is.

What a cast of characters they are. Either Boxer is screaming about big oil and saving the planet and then Feinstein chimes in. What a rocking bunch the state has to offer. They make me sick.
No need to protect our borders or help with energy. We are saving the planet and that is that. Do they realize that with all of this idiotic ideas, there may not be any people left to have the environment for?
I wish we could impeach all of them. Send them back.

I also wrote the esteemed Senator on her leaving the Congress for vacation with the country oppressed by high energy prices. I ALSO got exactly the same response.

She must have the boiler plate template up and ready to go.
Hard to believe she is a Senator.

I guess...
When you choose a category for your email subject, you are automatically sent that subjects' pre-written response, without anyone ever even reading what you have to say.
She must be very important and very busy to treat us little people with such... disregard.
Is that not disgusting?

Nice that she thinks so highly of the American people. You know, the ones that voted her in.
