When Fred Thompson had the chance to stand up and point his finger at that horrible wreck of a McLame and yell, "THIS GUY IS A BIG FAT LIB!" he sat silently by and let the party be hijacked by liberal cockroaches. I'm sure his complaints about the Obama Administration will be very biting and trenchant.

Since it was a long-distance trip, I decided to borrow my dad's VW Jetta TDI (40-something mpg on the highway) instead of using my Outback Sport (if I'm light-footed, maybe 30 mpg, and I was hustling because I got a 90-minute-late start). I like New Busch, even though it doesn't have a retractable roof and no roof at all on the upper-deck concourse.
