Musicals Gone Flat

Musicals are flat? Hardly!

Such a bitter attitude -- it sounds like you've never seen and heard "The Music Man" or "Les Miserables" on stage. The first was the first musical I ever saw (at age 4), is hilariously funny, and for decades was my favorite until "Les Mis" caught my attention about six years ago. Such a strong, touching story of redemption and care -- I can't sing many of the songs, though I'd like to, because the tears well up and my throat tightens.

Please, go back to square one and take a lesson from Harold Hill and Jean Valjean!
