Its always nice to be liked. Thank you! We're still working on getting the blog templates to look their best, so never fear...things are only getting better.

I really don't appreciate the racist nature of your blog. I have marked it as offensive and I will be notifying the admin of this site.

Mr. Monster, I'd be curious what you found racist about the blog as I just started it today and my only post is one thanking TownHall for offering it free of charge. If you are referring to the name 'Puddleglum', he is a fictional character who is pessimistic but turns out to be a hero for truth-telling and living justice faithfully. He is featured in the C.S. Lewis' childrens book "The Silver Chair" and he is pretty much the antithesis of racist. I think you'd enjoy him if you like so-called monsters like Shrek for instance.

It's very easy to set up your townhall blog to send e-mail. If you go to the "your opinion" center on the top center left of your townhall blog screen and click on that. There should be a hyperlink titled create/maintain your blog. Click on that and then log in. Once you get it, you can change password, or add blogrolls or even add e-mails. Have fun!

I don't see Black Monster specifying WHAT makes
the Whitchurch blog racist. The hard left in
this country long ago gave up on being accurate
in their terms, or fair in analysis; it's enough
for them to toss around emotional buzzwords like
"racist" or "hatemonger" or "homophobe." That
will please a certain audience, and it's SO much
easier than thinking.

What's sad is that those who emote in this way
miss out on identifying the REAL sources of race-
related problems. Here let me recommend a BLACK
FEMALE author--it's hard to dismiss her by saying
"That's just the white male view"--named Star
Parker. Her books reveal what minorities in this
country should REALLY be indignant about; and
it's not conservative Christians.

I personally know Joe. He is a solidly committed Christian dedicated to encouraging graduate students (Christian and non-Christian alike) like myself to have a vision of purpose and meaning with God's leading in their field of study. Joe not only desires to share and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ among graduate students, but he also has a graduate degree which means he also understands the pressures and demands that academics can take on a grad student. He has taught me and others how not to neglect the spiritual component of our lives while being a grad student. Furthermore, Joe lives in a area that hosts a university that has the second largest international graduate population in the United States.
Joe and I have talked about racism and how it does exist and the extent racism still exist even though things are much better than they were in the past. I can't imagine ANYONE accusing Joe of racism unless it was a troll.

I am just going to assume BlackMonster is a troll until he actually responds and explains what I know is an unfounded accusation.

I know Joe Whitchurch and he is a thoughtful Christian Conservative and minister of the Gospel in intellectually charged areas such as Purdue University and Notre Dame. He was a missionary to Africa for three years and cares deeply for the African people. To say he is racist is stupidity and ignorance at their heights.
