Just to clear the air

With hundreds of thousands of protesters voicing their opposition to discrimination, there has seemingly been one act of violence despite justified anger. For sure, ONE IS TOO MANY. Apparently, an elderly woman's cross was trampled upon. There was a report that she was spit on but I cannot find that in the video.

By the time this works its way through the right wing echo chamber, granny will have been raped by six crazed lesbians.

Trespass is a time-honored means of civil disobedience. While the LDS asked us to respect their church, that facility was H8 campaign headquarters, the phone bank, the place where volunteers were coordinated and the repository for materials such as lawn signs, flyers and pamphlets. Want respect? Give respect.

Having said that, bandwidth would be better utilized if you considered just why people are as angry as they are. Real conservatives should be outraged that the government is in our bedrooms and that civil law is being conformed to the biblical perspectives of some people. When you deny a group equal protection under the law, you are inviting a vigorous reaction.
