BORN ALIVE

I am completely ashamed of myself and my generation for thoughtlessly swallowing the "abortion rights" lie. We have been duped for too long.

I recently discussed abortion with my teenage daughter, and pointed out that I was very glad that I had not made the "choice" to abort her. Women need to understand that abortion is a cowardly, murderous "choice".

Every day, people have to deal with the consequences of their actions. If a woman gets pregnant by accident, is it so hard to ask that she deal with the consequences of creating a life? Either by raising the child, or if not capable of doing that, giving it up to a family that will do so lovingly?

My first son was born at 33 weeks, between the labor room and delivery room they lost is heart beat. Too late for a section, they forced manual contractions to deliver him with the cord wrapped around his 2. He responded quickly. His twin had died in utero months before. At 3 months, he required 7 hours of life saving surgery.Today, he is 29 and profoundly hearing impaired, but otherwise healthy.

The decision regarding reproductive health begins before intercourse, not after a life has been created.

It only takes 9 months to carry and then give birth to a child,there is no reason to murder it by abortion . Personal responsibiltiy and a girl will not get pregnant. This is a barbaric act against an innocent victim and needs to stop.

Mildred was my grandmothers name,you are only the second person I ever heard of with that name. Blessings to you for all you went thru to have your son. I am glad he has had a normal life in spite of those difficulties.I am a mom of 11 year old twins, it would be very difficult to go thru something like that .I refused the genetic testing amnio due to the fact I could lost one or both of them . Because I was near 40 I was high risk of possible something wrong such as Downs Syndrome but I took my chances and prayed for the best, both were born healthy .
Abortion is forever. Adoption, well you know you gave life and he or she is living it.

Both of my sons are the products of fertility drugs, and I have 2 daughters. All were premature and the last 3 pregnancies were highly complicated, but we here, we're healthy, and we are on to the next generation.

But I know how long it takes to carry a child. I've given birth to two. And my point was the same as yours--abortion is not a valid "choice".
