Abortion - A New Challenge

My little girl was born recently. All throughout the pregnancy, we had ultrasound sessions. From the earliest session at six weeks when we could see a heartbeart, to mere weeks later when we could see a fully formed, but small child with the hiccups, it was clear that my wife had a human being inside her - not a "blob". It is unthinkable that anyone would voluntarily kill such a helpless, innocent person.

Great job on both these articles. I especially liked your response on the social justice argument. I recently emailed Sister Prejean to ask why she never mentions abortion in her speeches. (I had recently seen one on TV.) Her assistant wrote back with her official position on abortion which is of course that she is pro-life. But she has clearly decided that fighting for the rights of crimals to live is more important than fighting for the rights of the unborn to live. This is what bothers me about social justice Christians. If you truly believe that millions of unborn babies, who are fully human and divinely created, are being killed every year through abortion, WHAT "social" issue is more important? You nailed it when you said there were probably Christian Nazis who were concerned about the poor in Germany during Hitler's reign while millions of Jews were being killed. Christians need to get our priorities straight! Thanks for letting me rant, and thank you for sharing these pictures (I had seen most before, but a couple were new to me) and your excellent reasoning.
