The WPA was one thing; this infrastructure economic jump-start is quite another. I find it difficult to believe that there will be enough American workers willing to work as hard as they would be required to in the pursuit of road- and bridge-building and repair, etc. How does one get blood out of a turnip? Put another way, WHAT taxes?
