NY Times vs National Enquirer

No one really wanted to touch this story. Living in LA, we have heard about this for almost a year. This was a touchy story and they were gathering the facts. On that note, the New York Times runs a story that has two (or whatever) unnamed sources and the story is pretty much fabricated, but hey lets put it on the front page.

I did see one of the guys from the National Enquirer who said that he would have been fired if we went to his editor with the McCain story.

Now if you heard some of the news last night, Huffington insists her writer wrote about on their site in September. So, are the National Enquirer and Huffington Post going to duke it out.

I grew up with the NE being the rag at the newspaper stand that had stories that were just off the wall, you laughed when you read them.

I do believe, and I may be wrong on this, but I think this is correct, I think they broke the story about Jesse Jackson's love child.
