That was brutal. But speaking from experience - I used to work for an MP in the British Parliament - UK Politics is laughably blunt. They shout and yell and hoot and holler during speeches, they outright argue with one another - not debate, but argue - on the Parliament floor. I have the utmost respect for Tony Blair becuase of the way he handled his critics in his years in office.
