So called "educators" started teaching a revised version of history and left out the lessons of how fascists gain power by encouraging class envy and resentment for anyone who fared better than they did. How sad it is that the young missed the obvious. Envy - one of the seven deadly sins. Their ignorance could cost them everything.

Well since Nov., the Dow has dropped over 3,000 points. Just since the Messiah'e election. There are trillions in deficits for as far as the eye can see. You are right, emjayne! This does make me very sick and ill, indeed. Also pbho saying the stock market is like an opinion poll. Tell that to every person who has a pension fund or investments or has worked hard to pay their mortgage and bills. Now the FDIC may be broke in 6 months and the gov`t is going to bail them out, too! The work ethic isn`t even on life support anymore, it no longer exists because pbho has promised to pay for everything.

I am also troubled by how he treated Gordon Brown and the chintzy gift of DVDs he gave him. Cheap, cheap and chintzy! Scare tactics seem the way to go with Obama. Everything is a crisis and in chaos. And if we don't throw money at it, we will all be doomed and be done with. Even when he was just a candidate, he always knocked America. He was going to come in and change it because we were just a piece of garbage. This man has done so much damage in so little time.

I believe you are right but one other lesson missing is from parents...money and "things" are more important than anything else whether you have to work for them or get them from the government.

I've been sick..I was in school and doing great when Obama won the primaries. From then on its been downhill. I passed with flying colors even though my interest in school started waning... I blew the Hire Test of "The Job" I wanted in January because I just wasn't present. Now I'm totally lost. Our Country is moving in a deadly direction. I'm lost in trying to figure my next move.

I can understand how you would feel lost. This is a bad time for getting out of school and looking for a job. I don't know what the answer is but I don't think it's going to get better very soon.
If you need a pay, it will be difficult. If you don't need money right now, it might be a good time to find a place to volunteer and help others. So many people are going to be having tough times.

I work already..I was just trying to better my situation...Now I don't know what is better. I have to watch my 14 yr old like a hawk! I had to stop working weekends because of her grades. There is no playing without paying.
