I crossed over in the Indiana Primary. As a lifelong Illinois voter, my conservative vote never counted. I moved to Indiana, became a "dissident democrat" and voila...I cast a meaningful vote for change.

Open primaries are not a product of an innocent age, they were designed to keep the parties "mainstream", weeding out extremists. Libs always assume they are the first to "see the light".
