NOTES ON RELIGION AND THE CONSTITUTION

My uncle, Dr. Jerry Clifton MD, is the only general practitioner in Show Low, AZ. He lives on the country club. He's a Primitive Baptist.

Anyway, read this post a week or so ago and it inspired me to write on the "Soul of the Constitution". I tried to explain why our nation holds that parchment so dear, and clings to it even now. It is the fact that it was based on the Laws of Nature, the First Priniples, and not on the view of an elite group of know-it-alls.

Thanks Glenn. Maybe I should have cited another town. When I was there in the 70s every county seat's professionals were from Brig Young, Utah, Utah State. And polygamy was bloomin all over.

Thanks for the link. We all agree about and use Heritage around here. I pooh-pooh many of the Beltway think tanks, but not them.
