I totally agree with your fury! I am furious, too. The immigration bill fiasco should be a wake up call to Washington but I don't think it is. Most of them are insanely removed from the heartbeat of this country, both in their thinking and their monied way of life. That said, most Americans don't let little things like 20 million illegal aliens in their midst disrupt their daily lives. I was just as furious with the uninterested middle class as I was with the smarmy senators. Flip side of the same ignorant coin. Enough of us were "loud" and got the attention of Washington but I feel they just swatted away an irritation and they will try again...

I agree with your assessment that the senators just "swatted away an irritation." Let's hope enough people have been aroused by this that they will keep informed as to what they are trying to put over on us.
