And the "poor" who will continue to be "poor" and continue to play the victim, but all to no avail since the coffers will be bare. I remember once listening to a pastor who was a young man during the Depression tell a story of his younger days.

Seems he had been travelling around looking for work, and during his travels, he befriended an older man of african ancestry. The older man was an invaluable source of information and tips. One such tip was a recipe for a quick and easy meal to fill the stomach. Seems if you poured the contents of a coke bottle into a bowl and then threw in a few saltine crackers, it helped fill the stomach and ease those gnawing hunger pangs.

Take note, for the day is coming when we may have to live off such things.

Hollyweird has become so politicized that I was able to predict all the top Oscars 3 months ago on a Rasmussen or Zogby, I forget which, without ever seeing any of the movies that were nominated.

We satisfied ourselves by watching a bootleg DVD of "Taken" and really good foreign film from '69 titled "Colonel Wolodyjowski" set in 17th century Poland during the Ottoman Turk invasion.

I liked it a lot. It was the kind of the big budget cast of thousands costume drama that appeals to me but an Evelyn Wood grad would have had trouble with the sub-titles from time to time. They were really quick!

Rahm isnt going to bother with a shrimp like me. Anyway he better hurry, the way the economy is going we'll all be living in our cars soon. Whats going to happen to the houses we get kicked out of?

I read a book called 'Joe Gould's Secret' about a madman who was on the fringes of the Greenwich Village Arts scene in the 30's. As for the title of your post, I agree -- Obama wont fail. The U.S. citizen who tries to do the right thing and teach the next generation what hard work, diligence and responsibility are all about are the ones who are going to be perceived as having failed. Uh oh, pressure is rising.

Netflix, that's were I got. Their movie matching algorithm works very well. After rating only about 400 films this one came up as a slightly better than 4 stars suggestion for me.
