I agree with you that it is not the people who are to blame, but those politicians we elected who forgot or ignored why we elected them. Conservative values work every time they are tried. Reagan proved that. Bush 1 forgot it with his tax increases and it cost him the election in '92. We thought W understood it even though he talked about being a compassionate conservative. We should have known better. He is the main reason we are where we are today because he is not a conservative. My question is where are we going to find people who will run for office who will not forget us or ignore us?
