Comment on: For God and Country

Barack Obama and Bill Ayers: Media- That’s Barack being Barack

The Mind of Christ

It is so ironic that the God fearing "charismatic" Christian is showing the shadow of bitterness towards Barack Obama. Having attended Oral Roberts University and been blessed by True men of God such as Oral, I know what the Spirit of the Lord looks like. He is not democrat and He is definately not "Mccain." How easily Christians rally behind a party because it is the "Christian" Party, please! Some of these republican leaders have been some of the most hateful and dishonest people. America needs to truly receive the Lord. Stop making this election the focus of your disappointment for the fact that this country has missed it. Finally for the first time in most of our lives, we will feel the blow.

Jane- I Am Perplexed!!!

Well I must say that comment is very confusing. I am most troubled how a seemingly committed Christian as you claim to be could vote for someone who attends a Church which espouses "Black Liberation Theology" and also protested a bill in the Illinois State Senate which would have guaranteed medical treatment of infants who survived an abortion. Also where did I ever state that the Republican Party is the "Christian" party? If there were one I would definitely rally behind it. I am also very confused as to what you are truly trying to say. Are you saying that America needs to suffer under an Obama presidency? Just give up to the "Party of Death" (Democrats) and let the country "feel the blow" as you put it? That is very strange advice and an un-Christian perspective. As a Catholic (I suppose you're of the type who doesn't consider Catholics Christians)I believe that we should be the "light of the world, the salt of the earth" and the arms and hands of Christ. I don't believe that Christians should just roll over and die when "all politicians" are making laws and breaking laws and ruining lives. We, as Christians, are to help build the Kingdom of God and prepare for His coing again in glory.
