I never thought of Mrs. Roosevelt as being of Victorian tastes, unless you mean she expected to be treated like Queen Victoria.
Mrs. FDR always seemed to be oozing know-it-all lessons and judgements, an active cheerleader for New Dealism, one worldism, communism and other dazzling twentieth century human catastrophies.
Hillary's perfect role model was Eleanor, that's why she started "channeling" her, or whatever ick she was supposedly up to.
