thank you~

just wanted to say thanks for your sympathizing with my problems. I am glad I am not the only one having problems. Seems to me that maybe this program has gotten too big for them to cope with?
while I was waiting to get in to make this comment I was reading what you had to sayabout McCain and I agree.
But I had a very difficult time reading your blog with the black print on blue. Maybe it's because I am 80 and my eyes are going? :-)))
I would have liked to read some of the other entries~
anyway, thanks, emmjayne

emjayne and print colors etc.

Dear emjayne:

First, I hope you had some success with the site. It can be so frustrating.

Thank you so much for your comments about my McCain blog, and especially for letting me know about the print color. Recently I changed from the "Trees" heading to this rather bland one, and it has taken some getting used to. I believe the background color is blue by default, but I believe I can change that. I'm not actually sure what format the earlier ones will show -- the new or the old.

I don't blog a lot, but now and then things get me stirred up and I just fire off. My husband asked me why I didn't say what I really thought!

Thanks again. I appreciate your comments.

I agree that McCain is not perfect or ideal. Nobody is. But I am just asking if (keyword being if) he wins the nomination is Clinton or Obama being elected worth it? Common sense should say no. Unfortunately, some conservatives don't seem to be rational about it and want to disregard him like any Democrat. My point is that he is far from being a liberal even if you do have disagreements with him. I agree his immigration stance was a tough one for me to swallow. But it was Bush's plan and conservatives even knew his stance on immigration and voted for him,... twice. Thank you for your thoughts and input.

back again

the color is greattttttttt. I can read it!
I see some people will vote for McC just to keep out hill or obama. Others won't vote. Others will vote for the Dem figuring things will be so bad it will bring a resurgence of Reps.
I really don't know what I will do if it comes to that. I don't like any of the choices.
Friggle, my husband says will I please stifle it...he is tired of hearing politics. :-))

I know you wouldn't vote for Hillbama. But if conservatives didn't vote for McCain how does that not help Hillbama. It maybe the lesser of two evils in some eyes but I don’t buy that.

As far as write-in, look back to 1992 when Ross Perot stole the election and gave it to Bubba. Third parties never work. Even if you want a conservative candidate some people are varying degrees of conservative in the GOP. Fred Thompson was looking like a good possibility but just never got the passion out. Thanks for the comments and feedback.

The biggest thing about Presidents over the next few years is SCOTUS nominations. Since McCain authored the greatest assault on the Constitution in the past 30 years (McCain-Feingold), I have exactly ZERO faith in him nominating a justice who would uphold the Constitution AS WRITTEN.

BTW, new posts up at The Swamp, and one's regarding a new blog I got asked to do...and it has gotten CAIR's attention. I figger if I got CAIR miffed, I must be doing something right.

Crawfish is Caught in the Net

Well, Craw, tell me how you got yourself in Dutch (pardon the expression -- it's an old one, just like me) with CAIR, of all the groups in the world. With all the groups in the world, you have to get banned or canned or panned or whatever by THAT one!

I read some of your latest, and I admit I didn't go over it with a fine-toothed comb, but I didn't see anything so sickening or frightening as that little sanctimonious organization. Please tell me how and why. Or just tell me where I can look. Thanks! And I must say, keep up the good work!

Hey, I DID put a disclaimer in there......

Crawfish in the Net

Thanks, Crawfish. I'm going to check it out just as soon as I sign off here.
