I agree with you on using larger calibers. I use a Ruger Blackhawk .45LC as my main home protection weapon. My backup is a Browning Citori O/U with #9 in the top barrel and 00 Buck in the bottom. I have never had to use a weapon for self protection but I am prepared to do so if needed.

Thank you for checking out our blog and commenting. Without the comments one wonders if anyone reads it. It's like selling things on eBay without a hit counter and not being able to the number of people watching the items listed.

A .45 Colt and 12 ga will do the job.

We really expected some negative comments about this but none so far.
