Liberals CONSTANTLY meddle with things that WORK, turning them into things that are BROKE, and then WALK AWAY FROM IT UNSCATHED!

The entitlement programs they've foisted on us over the last 60 or so years work real well,yeah that's right.More of the same in '09....

You get an Amen from me. Geesus, it makes me sick to think...how they keep working it and ruining it. In Chicago and the public housing sector, the powers that be tore down condemned housing and created section 8. Which is to say that Landlords get money for renting to the low income folk who DON'T even pay rent. But go into any apt and find the typical- which is to say people sitting on their duff and watching that 52" TV. IF the system provides a way for me to rape it, legally, then, like a good capitalist, I must show them how broken the system is!!!

When the lib judges legislate from the bench they are not challenged. It may be because that would open the door for liberals to challenge the judges who are conservative and who actually only give opinions based on the Constitution.

All you have to do is take a look at recent, un-altered history to see the mess libs make of everything.

Here in our town, a few years ago the city council was considering approving a low income housing project. I went to the meetings and told them not to do it. Those people don't pay taxes but are the biggest users of our tax dollars and I told them it would cause all kinds of problems. They lied and right in front of everyone claimed it was not low income housing, just "affordable housing". Ha! There is an article in one of the local papers talking about the new high crime and high drug use rates in that very same project.
As for section 8 around here, the landlords hike the rent up so it's about double what they really want. That way, the govt. pays and if and when the tenants don't pay their share, they're not out any money.


Libs don't pay attention to history. They have huge a22 egos and think those others just didn't do it the right way. That is why they are all such proponents of socialism/communism.

and unsettling as you think of the injustices heaped on families of the victims. Because the INjustice system focuses on the perp and their rights the victims are pretty much cast aside. When my daughter was raped, thank God he let her live, I had to readjust my whole schedule and life to accomodate her, but I wasn't a victim. Not only did we convict that vermin, but his daddy got a couple years in prison for assaulting us in the courthouse. Rotten apple/close to the tree. Sorry for the soliloquoy, really just meant to say, renaming always works, it isn't capitol punishment, how about retroactive abortion, we could go back a few generations as needed.

This will ONLY get worse this election cycle,since we KNOW Obama will only appoint Ruth Buzzy Ginsburgs to the SCOTUS,and McCain will give us another Kennedy at best,more than likely Souter.Yet the RNC seems to not have thought about that,along with a HOST of other issues. good post,along with some excellent comments.

To vacate the ruling in toto opens up a can of worms vis a vis civil rights of uninvolved people, but allowing the perps to go free under some circumstances is a rather undesirable unforeseen consequence of this ruling.
I would MODIFY the ruling, in that if the chain of evidence is maintained, then the rules on allowing evidence should be loosened. If a law was broken to get the evidence then it is discounted. If it was a departmental procedure that did not involve the chain of evidence, then allow it. Especially in cases of violent felonies.
I think that the rules of evidentiary procedure after the collection MUST be followed at all times to the letter. Else, the possibility of people tainting the evidence for their own agendas becomes not only possible, but likely.

definition: a conglomeration of people who believe they are above the Constitution, because the Constitution is not written in legalese, and is therefore not really the law.

How have so many Justices over the years been so oblivious to the simple language that is in that document?

I'm not a "liberal". Your adherance to the limbaugh, NBC, Fox talking points is incredibly disciplined. If you applied that discipline to something worthwhile (maybe coaching, helping kids or elderly people) instead of just hating and blaming liberals for everything you think is wrong we'd have a better USA, Eagle.

As for my adherence to Limbaugh,I’ve never listened to his show and maybe visited his web site a couple of times.I’m not a fan.As for NBC,you’re kidding right? I’m not a big fan of those folks either.I do view fox news and get my “talking points” from a lot of their shows.Why not.Their ratings outrank CNN & MSNBC combined most evenings and I agree with their platform and IMO,they are the most fair and balanced.

As for applying my discipline to “something worthwhile”, my entire adult life,I have been active in little league in my neighborhood(coaching).I’ve been a troop leader in the boys group at my church(a group similar to the Boy Scouts) and as a teen/young man,I volunteered my services at our local retirement home for the elderly.

I do not hate liberals.I do believe they are responsible for a good many things that are wrong with this country and I’ll call them on it.

I would assume a direct correlation between the national crime rate and a decline in morality…albeit proving it would be difficult. Of course you don’t need a study or empirical data to understand the obvious.

Have you viewed my site meter? I set that up May of last year. I get about 300-400 readers a day according to that. Who knows how much of my material is passed on and I have seen it referred to on other blogs.

What have liberals done to improve our lot? Raise taxes? Refuse to drill in ANWR? Support al-Qeada while condemning Marines? Back stab the USA every chance they get? Lie about the state of social security? (more on THAT tomorrow). Aid and abet communism wherever and whenever possible? Get us involved in WW1, WW2, and Korea AFTER they slashed the miltary's budget to the bone for years? Start Vietnam and run like sheep? Bay of Pigs? Hostage crisis 1979?
