There goes our coal
I am sure we all have seen pictures of "The Great Depression." Pictures of closed down coal mines, factories, etc in KY, WV, VA, OH, PA, TN, the Carolinas, etc. Families waiting in bread lines and outside soup kitchens. Well get ready for a repeat.
And then of course, with our coal resources gone, and the subsequent higher prices for power, we will see mass inflation. How many old folks will die in the cold because they can't pay their power bill?? This Monster Barack Hussein Obama, and all his liberal ilk, must be stopped!
And tomorrow, at the voting booths across this land, we can do it.

re: coal
I wrote a blog about this because this affects my family first hand. My dad works for a an energy company that does what: uses clean coal technology and wants to go nuclear after they are done converting all of their plants all over the state, the us, and the world into clean coal plants.
Under Obama it is pretty safe to say at this point that my dad is out of a job.

Coal: I hope it's in his stocking
Lets hope this solidifies the swing states of Virginia, Ohio, and PA for McCain.
I live by a nuclear power plant. Major employer in the area, if it closed, we would be in financial trouble because it lowers our property taxes. If Obama shuts down coal in these areas, it's not depression, it's desertion (of towns 7 businesses0 and there will be a massive influx to the surrounding cities for entitlements and survival. Blam! Wipe out unemployment! Splat! Need more government funded healthcare! Bang!More foreclosures...need more bailouts! Crash! Education takes a downward spiral! And he is the "one"???

We Can Only Hope
This is without a doubt a major concern for the folks of my adoptive state of KY. I had contacted my local TV station (channel 6 news Paducah KY) and the response was not one of very much concern. In fact the person that responded to me felt that it was his impression that Senator Obama was speaking in the abstact. Are you kidding me? To quote Rush Limbaugh " words mean things", and I am certian without a doubt that the Senator from IL has every intention of doing what he sets out to accomplish.
Below is the link to my local Radio station, feel free to contact them and let them know YOUR IMPRESSIONS!

Now, I want to thank you all for taking the time to respond to this post. I had posted it yesterday, and it didn't seem to be getting a lot of attention and to be honest I began to dispair just a bit. However I received a newsflash from GOP.COM, and a couple of other sites and it appears that this story is gaining traction. Perhaps, this is what will be needed to get people to realize what could be happening in the future and maybe turn the tide.
