“All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those toward whom it is directed will understand it…” Hitler
“Thus corporations finally claimed the full rights enjoyed by individual citizens while being exempted from many of the responsibilities and liabilities of citizenship. Furthermore, in being guaranteed the same right to free speech as individual citizens, they achieved, in the words of Paul Hawken, 'precisely what the Bill of Rights was intended to prevent: domination of public thought and discourse.' The subsequent claim by corporations that they have the same right as any individual to influence the government in their own interest pits the individual citizen against the vast financial and communications resources of the corporation and mocks the constitutional intent that all citizens have an equal voice in the political debates surrounding important issues.” Korten, When Corporations Rule the World
Catman Joe, again you have already lost. You have been nationalized. Stop squirming and pick a shell – I mean vote. The United States belongs to the corporations – they are the only first class citizens. They vote early and they vote often. There is no solution – so there must be no problem. You seem to be missing the message that G.E. is trying to say – “We bring good things to life.” Sit back and contemplate all the feel good jingles Corporate America (doff your hat) pay tons of money to put in your face. Maybe you need to be re-educated, you just don’t get it.
What this country needs is a major conservative news broadcast network. We have all those liberal networks and one in the middle, and no conservative right leaning network. It appears you could use a few hours of righteousness.

You Still Have A Job...
Your boss may have bought a fancy boat but you still have a job. When you tax small businesses and corporations they do two things -
Raise your prices if they can stay in business & cut jobs. If you work for Wal-Mart, McDonalds, a consulting firm, a car repair shop, Home Depot, in security, work as a electrician, do you work for Target, how about grocery stores. Under an Obama administration - YOU WILL GET HIT!

I still have a job because I make money for my boss. Although as a truck driver who gets paid by the mile I am making less because of the economy.
I see economic trends very early in the game.
