Umm

The condemnation is not coming against Israel asserting its right to self-defense, but against the proportion of the response. Bombing civilian targets as a way of intimidating the pro-American Lebanese government into forcing Hezbollah to disarm (something Israel couldn't even force it to do in its 18 years of occupation) is not justified.
