My understanding of the pharmaceuticals industry is that other countries around the world have made it clear that if US drug companies do not sell drugs at state specified market price, they will analyze the medicines, manufacturer the drugs in their labs, resulting in the US companies losing the revenue and the ability to control all production. The net result is that US drug companies must pass on to the American consumer the R&D costs and the cost of underwriting distribution of the drugs in other countries. If you have info to the contrary, I would like to read it.
Your writing style is great. Simple, direct, not florid, east to read and digest.
