Bad decision
At this point getting rid of Biden would be a TERRIBLE decision for Barry O. I mean, what does that say of his judgement and decision making ability? It will truely make it look completely for personal gain.
Not that the MSM would report anything bad about him renegging on Biden. They would be praising the return of Hillary...but it still might not sit well with a lot of his base.
The decision was made, they are panicking because the smears on Governor Palin are not working, but having the opposite affect.
McCain has the Obama camp rattled and that definitely shows if he is meeting in secret with Bill!

Could it happen?
Slow Joe is on tape saying Hillary is much more qualified and would have been a better nominee than he!!! -- Does the guy ever shut up or does he just think out loud?? -- Joe probably wonders how he got on the Obama train in the first place and now wants off! --

Bad decision? Maybe, Can it happen? Yes.
Both "American Sweetheart" and "dawndawn" make correct comments. A move of "axing" Biden and replacing him with Hillary would show Obama has terrible decision making skills. But, I disagree it will hurt him with his base. You need to remember, in their eyes, Barack can "do no wrong". He does things simply because he is Barack Obama. His base will rationalize this move as a "smart counteraction" to the Palin pick, and needed to put a women (Hillary), against women (Sarah). He will claim he is "leveling the playing field" or some catch line similar to that.
Dawndawn has witnessed the begging stages of this "transfer of power" move. Joe Biden and Barack Obama stood on a stage with theater music playing during a fireworks display that was unbelievable. All the time looking very confident and on the top of their game. But a day later, it is all forgotten and Joe is now wallowing in his dismay by even suggesting himself that "Hillary might have been a better choice"! He may be on board with this "transfer of power move" that Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton may be orchestrating.
The only thought I have on why this would not happen, is that Hillary might not be on board with this move. She might roll the dice and bet on the Obama/Biden loss, where she can run against McCain/Palin in 2012.
But she may also be thinking she would not want to run against a possibly stronger McCain/Palin ticket in 4 years, and be more willing to take the chance now and become the VP and run for top gun in 2016. If this happens now, Palin can still run on the "Looking to the Future" line. Let's watch how this play out over the next few days or weeks. Look for the signs of Biden "stepping out of the way" for Hillary to "rescue the floundering ticket".
