Intervention with out COngressional

approval is not isolationism

Look at his voteing reccord please. You sound like a village idiot not knowing what you are talking about.

My muti step plan to solve world peace.
1.Nuclear power
2 ge the hell out of the M.E.
3 warn them of another Islamo attack happens we take out Mecca.
4 focus on trade deficeit in China. Most americans are sick of the new government that funds our enemies who later attack us. I know you call that Isolationism. But I call it not be an idiot.

Now for your last paragraph
"Speaking of the Framers, they themselves became involved in interventions and other "unconstitutional" acts with the ink barely dry on the Constitution. We had the Monroe Doctrine, Tripoli, the Louisana Purchase, and other sorts of pragmatic actions that would have horrified any Libertarians while giving Dr. No fits of apoplexy. Since those who framed the Constitution found it necessary to stretch things quite a lot, why should we suddenly harken to the call of Ron Paul to limit ourselves to interpretations so strict that they could lead to our ultimate destruction?"

The difference is congressional approval and oversight. They had it we currently do not.
Sorry if the the rest of the story had to be told.

Paul is no threat.........

He is a yoyo.....

No problem.

Seeker

I have looked at his voting record. He votes no on almost every single bill, especially if he does not see a Constitutional Mandate for it. I think he does a wonderful job in Congress and would rather see Ron Paul lead from there. He would be a far better Speaker of the House or Senate Majority leader than any other Republican candidates.

Ron paul post

just wanted to say you were spot on with your post on Stossels Column Today. Take a look at my post on him if you get a chance.

I agree! No Rupaul!

With all respect to black transvestites, no Rupaul.

You are dead on about the dangers of isolationism.
