Obama also promised
transparency and accountability among his campaigne promises. We all know he hasn't kept those promises and I don't expect him to keep any of the others he's made. I don't believe he even believes the stuff he spews. He's supposed to be a smart guy, yet he doesn't seem to know or respect the constitution, apparently can't add 2+2 or he would know his "stimulus" scheme can't work. I think every jot & tittle of his agenda is designed to weaken our economy, deprive us of our rights, destroy the RNC and grab power; the people be damned. All Obama cares about is about is Obama. We are looking at a ruthless Narcissist King if we don't stop him.
Good post Saltwater. Thanks.

Deficits until he is re-elected
Next week, another new tax and spend horror. Then a health care proposal just as Hil is in time to make some marvy comments. And oh yes, the deficit somehow mysteriously will be reduced by 2013 to $553 billion as two more trillion is spent and the greedy guvs keep their paws out for more. Yep, Keynes is back in style and Friedman and F.Hyack are in the toilet for the foreseeable future. It is bleak indeed. Drop by.

What is next?
I remember seeing Logan's Run when I was younger. Thought it was pretty strange to kick you at 30.
I am not sure what is next? More spending. I see Citibank has started talking to the Feds. Not sure how that is going to turn out.
We have Tim G coming out again some time soon to announce TARP II or whatever it is called.

Notice if you will
The lack of a Toothy Smile on the kisser of The Sail Eared Simpleton recently. He is in DEEP Peat Moss already and HE KNOWS IT! Keep hitting your Senators & Congressmen with faxes and poll results and if they are GOP, STRONGLY encourage them to vote against, filibuster if possible and generally be a stumbling block. Somehow, someway, America WILL survive!

I hopel like you said
that you will be incorrect, but Obama has passed things we never thought would. I wonder if they'll try to get the tax on cow farts passed too? Wonder why he thinks we'll spend money yet taxes all we have?

Promises Are Made to be Broken
Nothing pbho says can be trusted. Look at the markets reaction recently. pbho just introduced Gary Locke as Commerce Secy and said how important the private sector and business are. However, his actions speak so much louder than words. He cannot control spending and doesn`t want to, as long as he gets his.
On March 3, Death with Dignity, will go into effect in Washington state, the third state to permit assisted suicide. It is frightening and absolutely horrendous to think that people may be put down like animals if they are terminally ill, even though he will cure cancer.
Everytime I hear about climate change and the words, electricity grid, I break out in hives. They will not be happy until we are all reading by candles, eating nuts and berries because there will be no more livestock/BBQ and levy huge taxes on the internet to stifle our speech.
These are just a few of the things that are happening now and more to come. Excellent post, Saltwater!

Great post. Too bad the fools voted for an even bigger one. This clown is supposed to be a Constitutional scholar? Whose constitution? Sure as hell isn't the one written lo those many years ago.
