Don't Ignore When They Admit Being Communists! (2)

Its Clear....

The Obama Administration and Congress are the most vile, evil, criminal group of people ever elected or appointed to public service in America.

Donnied

Bush and Cheney are the most vile and criminal group elected in America.

As for Obama, he is way too conservative.

BTW, not all Communists are the same. The totalitarian communists were horrific in how they treated people. But if you looked at the Sandinistas of the 80's, you will find that they gave their people more freedom than its US supported neighbors of El Salvador and Guatemala--which were horribly violent and repressive.

The American communists I have spoken to do not agree with the totalitarian policies of the old Soviet Union and Red China.

American Communism

American Communism may develop differently from other totalitarian forms. But the fact is that it is growing and it always reduces liberty.
If you want to talk about the c. & s. am. situation, almost everyone is abused no matter the government. Few of these nations have been really just, whether fascist or leftist.

Let's see what happens when the Obama official who agrees with Chavez' control of the press might actually able to implement such an idea. That is not a day that I look forward to.

Collin

The Communism of the Sandinistas actually brought a degree of liberty to people who had lived under a dictator. While the American supported states of El Salvador and Guatemala (in the 80's) reduced liberty.

Thus your point about communism always reducing is contradicted by History.

Also realize that the context for Chavez's control of the press is the attempted US backed coup of 2002 and expected future actions of the US. The natural response to any gov't that has seen a serious domestic threat, like we did on 9-11, is to tighten controls.
