Great Point

The truth is, we already pay taxes on gasoline purchases for road maintenance & repairs. Not just for new roads, but for the operation & maintenance of existing roads & bridges.

It is outrageous to consider "new" taxes, when the situation is our current taxes are improperly or inefficiently spent by pandering politicians.

The point is one that surely should have had more air time than Fred's nonsense about "tracking" our usage.

Gosh, many folks complained about monitoring communications. Wonder how they'd feel if we monitored travels?
